How can I educate my employer on the benefits to cover my dues?

First, check your employee handbook. Most quality employers have an expense policy covering professional association membership, and many BDPs are liberally covered to join associations because it leads to more business and better employees. If your company does not automatically cover, there is a compelling argument you can make to your boss for why your Society membership will help you and your employer. Finally, if your employer will not invest in your professional development, that's ok - the investment you make in yourself by joining will pay for itself many, many times over! Inquire to the Admissions Committee Now.
