The Society offers three distinct levels of membership, each designed to advance the specific career goals and professional needs at their level of experience.

Core Membership

> New! Charter 100 Member Program Annual Membership Investment  -$495.00. Charter Members are the "founders" of the Society. We offer Charter Membership to any qualified BDP until a quorum is achieved. Please Inquire Now  

> Standard Core Membership US $795.00 Annual Membership Investment  - Inquire Now  

Level I Core Member: 0-3 years direct experience as a Business Development Professional. Must be currently employed in a BDP role, working with large markets and accounts in complex sales/BD environment. "Highly-active" Level I Core Members may apply for Level II Membership after one year of membership.

Level II Core Member: 3-10 years direct experience as a Business Development Professional Must be currently (or within the last 2 years) employed in a BDP role, working with large markets and accounts in complex sales/BD environment. "Highly-active" Level II Core Members may apply for Level III Membership after one year of membership.

Level III Core Member: 10+ years experience as a Business Development Professional in the complex sales/BD environment. May also include management experience, and facilitator-level expertise in complex sales methodologies, environments and processes. Includes all Charter Members and Board of Trustee Members.

Associate Membership

Associate memberships are available on a limited basis, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees, to trainers/coaches, technology consultants, retailers and other individuals who may enjoy a mutually beneficial association with the Society. The number of companies/individuals in each type of business is limited, and the Society follows an 90/10 mandate on the number of total Core Members to Associate Members.

"Transitional Professional" and Apprentice Members

Society membership is currently open only to BDPs already working in the profession. We have plans for student, apprentice and "transitioning professional" memberships, but for now Core and Associate are the only available member types. If you would like to be considered for an additional membership type in the future, please email us.

Renewing Members

You may renew your membership online within the MySociety section or by contacting Member Services.

We accept credit card payment online (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX) via our secure server.
